Christian Crossings Academy (further known as CCA) admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. CCA does not discriminate on a basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational or admissions policies, scholarships, athletic or other school-administered programs. CCA does, however, screen applicants on the basis of academic ability, conduct and behavior, and compatibility with the school’s religious purpose, philosophy and goals. We further reserve the right to decline to admit a student whose special educational, behavioral or physical needs reach beyond the scope of our ability to meet.

Admissions Process:

1. Attend an Open House or Tour.
2. Complete the online student application found on the website, including all required documentation notated on the application.
3. Upon completion of the application, the admissions team will review it and schedule a day for your child to shadow at the school.
4. After the day of the shadow experience, the admissions team will meet to review all documentation.
   After reviewing and praying over the information, the team will contact you regarding the status and, if applicable, final acceptance procedures. During this time, we may contact your child’s current and/or past schools regarding your child’s academic, behavioral, and spiritual condition.
5. If your child is accepted for enrollment, you will submit the registration fee to secure their spot.

Admissions Policies:

• All student applicants must demonstrate a current year 2.5 grade point average or greater, or an overall “Satisfactory” or equivalent, depending on the grading scale used at the student’s prior school.
• For students utilizing the Florida Scholarships, the Letter of Award must be included. If the letter has not been received, the student will be considered a full pay student until it is received.
• For students who will be utilizing the Florida Scholarships with unique abilities, an IEP, 504, and any supporting documentation must be included in the application material. The remaining balance due after all scholarship funds are exhausted is the responsibility of the parent.
• For students who are eligible for the FES-UA scholarship, the Principal will set up a conference to discuss your child’s needs before a shadow date and/or placement test is scheduled to determine suitability of CCA for your child.
• In order to successfully deliver a sound Christian education in a comfortable learning environment, we are not able to meet the needs of students who exhibit one or more of the following:
  • Dismissal from any prior school
  • A history of aggression, violence, or bullying, whether verbal or physical
  • Behavioral concerns that could be a disruption to the learning environment
  • Academic concerns that could prevent the student from keeping up with the pace of the class
• During the shadow day, the student’s placement test will be administered. Students who do not exhibit a willingness to participate, a desire to do one’s best, and a positive attitude will not be accepted.
• Students who apply after the last available shadowing date for the current school year may be accepted on a provisional basis.
