Ms. Julia has been teaching Kindergarten at CCA since 2016 and taught VPK and a school-aged aftercare program for four years prior to that. Ms. Julia has over 18 years of teaching experience in early childhood and elementary settings. She holds a Child Development Associate credential along with certifications in Childcare Facility, Basic Guidance and Discipline, Early Literacy, Language and Vocabulary, Emergent Literacy, School Age, Special Needs, and the Florida Standard Certificate for Assessment for Instructors. Ms. Julia is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Pete College. Christian values, integrity, commitment, and love for children are what have brought Ms. Julia to teach at CCA, and she strives to develop an energetic, positive environment where her students and families feel secure, loved, and a genuine presence of God.
