Courtney Atkinson

Ms. Courtney brings a decade of elementary teaching experience to her role, having spent four years in First grade and five years in Kindergarten. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and is endorsed in ESOL, Reading K-12, and ESE K-12.

Throughout her career, Ms. Courtney has served as a lead teacher in Social Studies, RTI (Response to Intervention), and Reading and Writing. She is deeply committed to building strong relationships with her students and fostering a supportive classroom community. Ms. Courtney is passionate about creating an active learning environment, incorporating movement, small group centers, and teamwork to engage her students.

She believes that effective communication and providing students with diverse experiences are key to helping them achieve their social-emotional and academic goals. By focusing on these aspects, Ms. Courtney aims to establish a solid foundation for her students’ life skills and future success.
